Lobbies, Communal Spaces, and High Traffic Areas

Furniture should be arranged to encourage physical distancing. Consider how individuals move through high traffic areas. Signage should be posted reminding employees to keep a safe distance when in lobbies while talking to a lobby ambassador. For lobby desks, plexiglass or other partitions may be used to create a barrier if physical distancing cannot be consistently achieved.

Utilize the lobby and entrance signage above.

Plexiglass or other barriers should be anchored to the desks not suspended from ceilings and maintain at least 2′ from the ceiling. If it needs to be anchored to the floor it can’t block or protrude into exit paths or openings.
